How Our Custom Wire and Sheet Metal Production Lines Work

In the field of metal processing, production capacity primarily depends on the layout and integration of equipment on the production line. This article focuses on the equipment used in ATA Metal’s custom wire and sheet metal production lines and explains how these configurations support diverse processing needs.


On our custom wire and sheet metal product lines, the workshop layout provide safe operating space for every operator. Different-type Shenda multi-axis spring machines and stamping presses are used for accommodating a wide range of custom requirements.

All machinery undergoes regular maintenance, keep the proper functioning of critical components healthy. Especially clutch and brakes, requires particular attention to check their sensitivity and prevent accidents during the production process. The precision calibration is also on schedule to guarantee that all operations meet the required standards.

Moreover, the skilled workers who not only operate the machinery with fluid proficiency, but are also adept at precisely locating the weld points on each product, thereby ensuring the highest production efficiency.

Equipment is supplied by renowned brands: CN-WAVE, Foshan Baison, Tuoheng Intelligent and so on. The HPC-series CNC bending machines feature advanced numerical control systems, which enabling them to shape materials with both high precision and efficiency.

The backgauge frame undergoes high-temperature tempering heat treatment. This process relieves the material internal stresses, enhances its plasticity and toughness, prevents frame deformation, and safeguards against any decline in operational accuracy.

To ensure the production precision, the machinery almost powered by a high-performance main servo motor system, with components supplied through a collaboration between the manufacturer and the German manufacturer, HAWE. Ensuring stable precision control while simultaneously guaranteeing efficient operational performance.

A key aspect of the servo motor system’s precise positioning is the establishment of a closed-loop position control. The operation of the servo motor can be divided into several layers: the control layer, drive, execution and feedback layer.

At the control layer, the PLC component sends out pulse signal commands; the driver at the drive layer receives these signals and calculates the output current, which causes the devices at the execution layer to perform actual movements.

Then the feedback layer encoder immediately activates and provides real-time feedback to the driver with the current position and speed. This setup ensures stable and accurate control throughout the production process while also maintaining efficient operational performance.

To ensure both production lines operate at full capacity, equipment maintenance is scheduled not only according to existing maintenance plans but also based on order cycles. Neither the extensive variety of products nor the high production volume compromises the quality or delivery schedule of customer orders.
